- Selected plans within the ‘Contractor’ section of this site are exclusive and not available to the public. Builders and Contractors have accessibility to all plans on this site.
- Custom design is available at a discounted rate- send in your request and we’ll do our best to meet your criteria. This custom plan will become property of MyOwnPlans.com and be made available on this site.
- A minimum of three new plans will be posted and available in the ‘Contractor’ section each month.
- WOW! Look into this- If you have a need for a plan with particular specifications that are not found in our portfolio- maybe you have a narrow lot or other accommodations that need to be met- we’ll put together a concept to address those issues and post it on this site. Should you want it, we’ll develop it for you at no extra cost- only the standard rate would apply-then we’ll offer it in the "Members" section of this site.

Here is an example of how the savings in plan costs are passed on to you:
Let’s suppose that you build 30 homes in a two-year time frame and you spend on the average $500.00 for plan fees each time you build. This translates into your having spent $15,000.00 in plan fees alone.
When you sign up as a member with MyOwnPlans.com, your first plan purchase is 25 percent off. For example, you choose a $500.00 plan- your cost is $375. You choose a second plan for $500.00 and a third plan for $600.00. Now you have 3 plans from the MyOwnPlans.com portfolio that you can build as many times as you want (for the sake of example lets use those same 30 homes) with no repeat fees and you’ve spent $1,475 for plans rather than $15,000. Your savings in plan fees alone is $13,525.00. Wow! What an impact on your bottom line. Put that savings to use for yourself or offer upgrades to your buyers.
As long as you’re a member, you may continue to build from the plans you’ve purchased from myOwnPlans.com without repeat fees.
How to become a member
1. Apply online. Fill out the application, then based on the area you are building you will be given a membership rate. Also you may contact us and we can set the account up for you.
2. Pay membership fee: The membership fee is good for two years and is based by geographic region* after the first two years the membership will be renewed annually.** Payments can be made by credit card on this site, or by check or money order.
3. Buy your first plan: after you purchase your membership a sales representative will contact you within 24 hours to give you a discount off your first plan. This plan will be 25 percent off the lower membership rate not the public price. You may purchase other plans at your membership rate as well and may build from these plans as many times as you wish as long as your membership is current
These plans will be sent to you as 1 set of reproducible vellums or AutoCad 14 disc through U.S.P.S. If desired blueprint copies will also be available.

**(The renewal fee for the year 2007 will be 500 dollars and will not increase more than 6% in any one year)
